Heard 'Round San Diego

San Diego is a city, a city filled with people.  If you happen to encounter a San Diegan, he or she will probably be coyly smiling for you while pretending to read a map.  Another interesting thing about San Diego is that San Diego was almost chosen as the shooting location for Samuel Jackson's Epic "Lord of the Rings" trilogy.

It's a little known but true fact that the classic Stevie Nicks song "Chompin'" was actually about Groucho Marx and his love of the cigars.  Late in his career Marx, pictured here, performed live at Carnegie Hall for a recording entitled An Evening With Groucho.  He was also the great-grandson of Karl Marx and the great-grandfather of Cheech And Chong Marx.

Patrick Shame Harrigan

This is how my friend Patrick talks all the time.  It's because he has an extra Adam's Apple. One day he came over to my house and started yelling these really obscene things at me.  Luckily I had a pen and paper handy and I wrote down everything he said and then I had him do it again into a microphone in his normal voice and this is what it sounded like.  

Settlers of Cat-FUCKING SHIT!

At some point in the 20th century, a german whose name I can't remember invented a game.  He called it Settlers of Catan.  He then captured five men and two women (using a net) and forced them to play his game for all eternity.  

The Rockin' Bulldogs

No one knows why, but if you put a bulldog on a rocking chair next to a fireplace and give it a blanket, it will immediately begin knitting for you.  It may appear to be showing affection, but in fact it is vying for dominance. Show your dog who the human is.  Take its knitting and throw it in the fire.   

Young Poppy.

How Young is Young Poppy?  Younger than the youngest  sapling on the first day of spring.  Younger than humankind (cosmologically speaking).  Younger than youngest member of Youngsta's.  So young he isn't even allowed to listen to loud music.
